I have three scenes in DASH that are not working out well.I get comments from my Cp's like... This is, um, better, but...
That's always frightening. Maybe I'll work on nonfiction today and let them sit. Scary that the book is already written, but I can't seem to get past chapters five and six in the revisions.
Still waiting on help for the tag line. What do you think about Watch what you say... you never know who might be reading your lips. ??? Thoughts anyone?
And congrats to Diana Peterfreund who had a blurb in Publishers Marketplace the same day mine was in. She sold a YA book called Rampant, about killer unicorns. Yeah, I can't wait either!
Waiting for my daughter to finish my My Space. Will friend you all once I am done.
Then on to getting a website. Do I really have to spend a thousand dollars to get a good one? YIKES!

I like your tag line suggestion :)
Websites are expensive if you get a good designer. And I swear, you get what you pay for!
I like the tag line too.
I'm having similar problems in my revisions. Bleh.
Congrats to you and Diana both. ;-)
I think Kristen's right. My site is not done by a professional, and while I like it, we're having a LOT of problems viewing it in Firefox.
However, I can't stand the thought of not being able to update it myself, because I add and remove stuff all the time. ;-)
I know that some website designers will bargain with writers. They have what we want/need and we often have what they want/need.
That being said, I like my site. It's simple and I did it myself.
I like your tag line suggestions too.
I like your tag line a lot, but if you need more to choose from, here's another suggestion:
"Read my lips (just don't read my mind)."
Congratulations on your sale - your journey to becoming a published author is very inspiring!
I totally agree with Kristen, you get what you pay for. This is where most of your marketing dollars should go so use them wisely. I adore my web designer!
I like your tag line, but I also really like Tina's! :) I was lazy and used the one the publisher gave me! :)
Can't wait to be your "friend"
hugs,
Steph
How about just a bit stronger: "Watch what you say... you never know who might read your lips."
Shannon
Can't wait to see you on myspace, Teri and good luck with your website. I did mine myself and stupidly forgot to bring the software with me so I can't update it until all my shipping arrives. Someone on the ya loop had a great suggestion for your tagline which I really liked!
