1. Sometimes I have trouble sleeping. I go to sleep fine and then wake up at one or two or three and can't sleep till the morning. This is cyclic.
2. Last night I woke up at 1:30 am and couldn't get back to sleep until 6:30 am.
3. I didn't get enough sleep and my day is shot and I'm in a horrible mood.
There. I did my three things.

Bummer on not enough sleep. Maybe you can sneak in a nap today?
Teri, I have no idea how old you are and so please forgive me if this, in anyway, now makes you hate my guts... But first, I will share... I am 41. There. I said it as a peace offering... I went to the doctor with the same complaint and a laundry list of other, I thought, unrelated symptoms. Turns out... they were all related – related to pre-menopausal symptoms and easily (and safely) remedied by a daily dose of Estroven (not estrogen - but Estroven) and reading at night before bed. (Some like to add a glass of red wine to that as well - but wine interrupts my sleep pattern). So... again, I have no idea your age and do not mean to offend, but there could be a reason for the waking up in the middle of the night and an easy remedy.... Estroven has changed my life and fixed my laundry list of symptoms. ALL of them!
Hope you caught up last night.. :) Sending hugs.
Blech. I hope you get some peaceful, refreshing sleep this weekend!
