It works for me. What are your mixed reactions on?

Mostly the second quote. I meant I have no formal education. The way it's written seems like I am totally uneducated:)

Sorry you aren't completely happy with it, but I think it makes you sound like the cool, caring person you are, and that you've worked hard to achieve the successes you have. Go you!!!

Hi Teri, I've been a lurker for quite awhile ever since you had your blog tour for READ MY LIPS (which was SO FUN - even though I didn't win anything, ha, ha!)

Anyway, I had to write when I read in the article that you homeschooled. I did too - my 3 boys through about half of high school. And you wrote a homeschooling book - I'm very impressed!

I liked the article! I think you sound very interesting and caring and smart. Even if you say you haven't had much schooling yourself. ;-D

That quote was a little shocking but I thought the article was good. And it is obvious through the other quotes how smart you are. Congrats.

I think the article is fine, Teri. It really makes you sound like a self-starter and very community oriented.

Although the second quote might sound that way, the list of all your successes that immediately follows the quote you questioned makes it clear that you were referring to a formal education.

Overall -- very engaging article. I agree with Lisa -- it makes you sound very cool and caring.

Hopefully, it will help you find some local support for your club.
