Starbucks is pissing me off

So I totally blew off almost my entire weekend of obligations in order to write. I still made it to Spanish and I made it out to mentor Harley, but other than that I wrote my arse off. Twenty-four new pages people! Not bad for a weekend.

A small rant:

Dear Starbucks,

How I love thee, let me count the ways: I love your coffee, and the marraige of chocolate and espresso in your espresso truffle is a work of art. I love the comfy chairs, I love the number of electrical plug ins you provide, and I love the back to the womb decor. But I have to say, with all honesty, that your lack of free wifi really pisses me off. Frankly, I don't mind paying almost five bucks for a supurb cup of coffee, but when you try to soak me for more with your AT&T internet services... well, that just hurts my feelings. I know you are going through some financial difficulties right now, but come on, surely you can afford to give your devoted customers free wifi for their loyalty. I'm just saying.

Love, Teri

Head a littler farther west. I think our little main street bookstore, with fabulous coffee, has free wifi.

And then I could see you, too.

But not today. Today, I is sick.

You have to pay for WiFi? That sucks.

How the mighty have fallen!

And thanks for stopping by my blog. I knew you would love it! But you really must tell me why you allow me out in public with duct tape!

Problem easily solved, Teri! Get a Starbucks card and load it with $20 or so and use that to pay for your coffee. Before you use is, go on to Starbucks.com and register that particular card, then just keep loading it and using it. You will get free wi-fi, I think as long as you use the card about once a month. I've been doing it for a while and it works great!

Ooooh, this is my current rant!

I live in a rural area, and even the Mom and Pop cafe's that could USE the money offer free wifi!

But SBX is trying to squeeze me for every penny. Yeah, I got issues...
