That is the question.
I have this urge... to get a tattoo.
I know. I know I am 43 years old. I know that tattoos aren't really me... but I have this... urge.
I'll let you know how that goes.

Teri - how weird because I've had this exact same urge and have been talking about it to my husband. I know I probably won't do it, but I respect the urge!!!!!

I have three. Would get another if I had an appropriate place to put it but I'm running out of appropriate places.
FYI: Lower back tats HURT. Ankles, not so much.
There are some urges you should give into. This is one of them. And then take pictures. And post them. I can live vicariously through you because my fear of needles (and, you know, PAIN) is preventing any tattooing from occuring over here....
Go for it!! :) You can always get a little one.
I'm all for other people getting tattoos if they want them. But I admit I've never liked them. Just don't. I like my ornamentation changeable, like jewelry, I guess, to fit my mood.
If I ever had the urge, all I'd ever have to do to talk myself out of it is to picture the tattoo with wrinkles.

Ooooh, Teri. I have that urge, too. And it's getting stronger every day. I wanted to get one in honor of my first sale - a Fury. But seeing as how the Furies are winged creatures with snakes in their hair and as such are sort of evil looking, the DH is trying to get me to think of something else.
Ankle doesn't hurt too bad, huh? That's where I'm thinking. What about top of the foot?
I'm 42. I got a tattoo when I was 29....
But I got my nose pierced a couple of months ago!!
